Alexis, former coordinator of the International Black Youth Summit is now devoted to a full-time impersonation of radicalized adulthood. Alexis (along with Bonita, Marquetta and the inspiration of the current International Black Youth Summit facilitator body) created this website as a way to sustain and support the work of young black visionaries around the world.
Alexis is also the creator of BrokenBeautiful Press a publishing initiative dedicated to making love visible and making the world free. Miguel Franklin, outstanding participant in the 2005 Anguilla Youth Leadership Summit was also a youth-member of the Enlightenment Team that did the local organizing work necessary to bring the course to Anguilla. After the leadership course Miguel was among the young people to declare himself as facilitator of the conversation of the International Black Youth Summit and participated with other young people to create a design for a youth center in Anguilla where young people can support each other in fulfilling their visions. Miguel is also a member of the award-winning Allawe Performance Troupe and is currently persuing a degree in Creative and Fine Arts at Chattanooga State University.
